제1장 총 칙

제1조 (목적)

이 규정은 건강기능식품미래포럼 정관 제4조 목적사업에 근거하여 출판하는 건강기능식품미래포럼학술지 Food Supplements and Biomaterials for Health(이하 “FSBH”라 한다)의 편집위원회(Editorial Board; 이하 “위원회”라 한다)의 조직과 운영에 관한 사항을 규정함을 목적으로 한다.

제2조 (소재)

위원회는 서울 또는 수도권 내에 둔다.

제3조 (위원회의 목적)

건강기능식품미래포럼 정관 제19조에 근거하여 구성한 위원회는 FSBH가 예정대로 연 4회 출판될 수 있도록 이에 필요한 제반 사항을 수행함을 목적으로 한다.

제4조 (위원회의 활동)

위원회는 제3조의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음 각 호와 같은 활동을 수행한다.

1. 1. 투고 규정 마련
2. 2. 투고 증진을 위한 방안 연구
3. 3. FSBH 구독 증진을 위한 방안 모색
4. 4. FSBH 국제화를 위한 방안 모색
5. 5. FSBH 게재 논문의 건강기능식품 관련 정부 기관 및 사회단체의 관심 제고
6. 6. FSBH 이외의 간행 사업

제2장 조직 및 업무

제5조(편집위원장: Editor-in-Chief)

1. ① 위원회에는 편집위원장(이하 “위원장”이라 한다)을 두며, 건강기능식품미래포럼 회장이 임명한다.
2. ② 위원장의 임기는 2년으로 하고 연임할 수 있다.
3. ③ 위원장은 위원회 사무를 관장한다.

제6조(편집부위원장: Associate Editor)

1. ① 편집위원장의 업무를 보좌하기 위하여 식품․의약학․생물학 분야에서 2인의 편집부위원장(이하 “부위원장”이라 한다)을 둘 수 있다.
2. ② 부위원장은 위원장의 추천으로 건강기능식품미래포럼 회장이 임명하고 임기는 2년으로 하고 연임할 수 있다.
3. ③ 부위원장은 해당 분야로부터의 투고 및 구독 홍보, 투고된 원고 심사자 선정 등 평가 업무 및 기타 편집과 관련된 업무를 수행한다.
4. ④ 부위원장 중 연장자는 유사시 위원장을 대신한다.

제7조(편집간사: Managing Editor)

1. ① 본 위원회의 목적 달성을 위한 위원회의 활동 및 편집 관련 제반 업무 수행을 위하여 편집간사를 둔다.
2. ② 편집간사는 위원장의 추천으로 건강기능식품미래포럼 회장이 임명하고, 임기는 2년으로 하며 연임할 수 있다.

제8조(특수업무 편집간사: Editors for Special Affairs)

1. ① 본 위원회는 편집 업무의 원활한 운영을 위하여 언어담당간사(Language Editor), 통계담당간사(Statistics Editor) 및 운영간사(Administrative Editor)를 둔다.
2. ② 이들 간사들은 위원장의 추천으로 건강기능식품미래포럼 회장이 임명하며 임기는 2년으로 하며 연임할 수 있다.
3. ③ 언어담당간사는 투고된 원고의 영어를 국제적 수준으로 유지하기 위한 필요사항을 수행한다.
4. ④ 통계담당간사는 투고 원고 통계의 적정성 유지를 위한 필요사항을 수행한다.
5. ⑤ 운영간사는 출판과 관련된 행정, 재정 등의 업무를 수행한다.

제9조(편집위원)

1. ① 본 위원회는 제8조에 따른 특수업무 편집간사 외에 위원회의 원활한 업무 수행을 위하여 40명 내외의 편집위원을 둔다.
2. ② 편집위원으로는 국내외 학자 및 전문가로부터 30명 내외, 국내산업계로부터 10명 내외로 한다.
3. ③ 이들 편집위원은 원고의 심사, 투고 및 구독 홍보, FSBH 발전에 대한 의견제시 및 기타 편집과 관련된 사항을 수행한다.
4. ④ 편집위원은 위원장의 추천으로 건강기능식품미래포럼 회장이 임명하고, 임기는 2년으로 하며 연임할 수 있다.

제10조(자문위원회)

본 위원회의 발전을 위하여 10명 이내의 위원으로 구성된 자문위원회를 둘 수 있으며, 위원은 위원장이 위촉하여 구성한다.

제3장 재 정

제11조(재정)

본 위원회의 재정은 다음 각 호의 수입으로 충당한다.

1. 1. 건강기능식품미래포럼 지원금
2. 2. 건강기능식품, 식품 관련 산업계 지원금
3. 3. 학술지를 통한 광고 홍보 관련 협찬비
4. 4. 원고 투고료
5. 5. 기타 수입

부 칙

(시행일)

이 규정은 건강기능식품미래포럼 운영위원회를 통과한 날부터 시행한다.

Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1. Objectives of the Regulations

These Regulations serve the purpose of delineating matters pertaining to the establishment and functioning of the Editorial Board, hereinafter referred to as the "Board," for the academic journal known as "Food Supplements and Biomaterials for Health (FSBH)," published by the Health Functional Foods Future Forum, hereinafter referred to as the "Forum." The FSBH is published in accordance with Article 4, denoting the activities of the Forum, as outlined in the Articles of Association of the Forum.

Article 2. Location of the Board

The Board shall be situated within Seoul or its metropolitan area. The establishment of the Board is mandated by Article 19, governing the Editorial Board, as stipulated in the Articles of Association of the Forum.

Article 3. Objectives of the Board

The Board is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing all necessary affairs to ensure the timely publication of the FSBH four times annually, in adherence to the prescribed schedule.

Article 4. Activities of the Board

The Board shall undertake the following activities, in pursuit of the objectives outlined in Article 3:

1. 1. Formulating the Regulations governing the Board.
2. 2. Promoting the submission of manuscripts to the FSBH.
3. 3. Enhancing subscriptions to the FSBH.
4. 4. Facilitating the internationalization of the FSBH.
5. 5. Advocating the significance of health functional foods to government bodies and societal organizations.
6. 6. Managing all publications other than the FSBH

Chapter 2. Structure and Responsibilities

Article 5. Chief Editor

5.1. The Board shall have a Chief Editor, appointed by the Chairperson of the Forum.

5.2. The term of service for the Chief Editor shall be two years and may be renewed.

5.3. The Chief Editor shall be responsible for the management and supervision of the Board.

Article 6. Associate Editor

6.1. Two Associate Editors may be appointed in the fields of food, medicine, and biology to assist the Chief Editor.

6.2. Appointment of the Associate Editors shall be made by the Chairperson of the Forum, upon the recommendation of the Chief Editor, and the term of service is two years and may be renewed.

6.3. The Associate Editors shall be tasked with the following duties:

1. 1. encouraging manuscript submissions
2. 2. enhancing FSBH subscriptions
3. 3. selecting reviewers for submitted manuscripts
4. 4. handling other publication-related matters.

6.4. In the event of an emergency, Senior Associate Editors shall assume the responsibilities of the Chief Editor.

Article 7. Managing Editor

7.1. Managing Editor shall carry out the activities of the Board as well as all editorial- related tasks to achieve the Board's objectives.

7.2. The appointment of the Managing Editor shall be made by the Chairperson of the Forum, upon the recommendation of the Chief Editor. The term of service is two years and may be renewed.

Article 8. Editors for Special Functions

8.1. The Board shall include a Language Editor, Statistics Editor, and Administrative Editor to ensure the smooth operation of editorial work.

8.2. These Editors are appointed by the Chairperson of the Forum upon the recommendation of the Chief Editor, and their term of service is two years and may be renewed.

8.3. The Language Editor shall undertake necessary tasks to maintain the English language quality of submitted manuscripts at an international standard.

8.4. The Statistics Editor oversees the matters pertaining to statistics of submitted manuscripts.

8.5. The Administrative Editor shall handle administrative and financial responsibilities related to publication of the FSBH.

Article 9. Constitution of Board Members

9.1. To ensure the efficient functioning of the Board, the Board shall comprise approximately 40 members.

9.2. The board members consist of approximately 30 members from scholars and experts from domestic and foreign academic societies, and approximately 10 members from domestic industry.

9.3. These members shall undertake responsibilities such as:

1. 1. reviewing the submitted manuscripts
2. 2. promoting manuscript submissions and FSBH subscriptions,
3. 3. offering insights on the FSBH’s development
4. 4. executing other editorial-related duties.

9.3 The members are appointed by the Chairperson of the Forum upon the recommendation of the Chief Editor, and their term of service is two years and may be renewed.

Article 10. Advisory Committee

10.1. To facilitate the advancement of the Board's functions, an advisory committee comprising a maximum of 10 members may be established, with appointments made by the Chief Editor.

Chapter 3. Finance

Article 11. Finance

The financial sustenance of the Board shall be derived from the following sources:

1. 1. Subsidies provided by the Forum.
2. 2. Subsidies from the industries related to food and health functional food.
3. 3. Sponsorship expenses related to advertising promotion through academic journals.
4. 4. Manuscript processing fee.
5. 5. Other sources of income.

Addendum

Article 1 (Effectiveness).

The Regulations shall come into effect on March 1, 2021.
