이 규정은 건강기능식품미래포럼 정관 제4조 목적사업에 근거하여 출판하는 건강기능식품미래포럼학술지 Food Supplements and Biomaterials for Health(이하 “FSBH”라 한다)의 편집위원회(Editorial Board; 이하 “위원회”라 한다)의 조직과 운영에 관한 사항을 규정함을 목적으로 한다.
위원회는 서울 또는 수도권 내에 둔다.
건강기능식품미래포럼 정관 제19조에 근거하여 구성한 위원회는 FSBH가 예정대로 연 4회 출판될 수 있도록 이에 필요한 제반 사항을 수행함을 목적으로 한다.
위원회는 제3조의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음 각 호와 같은 활동을 수행한다.
본 위원회의 발전을 위하여 10명 이내의 위원으로 구성된 자문위원회를 둘 수 있으며, 위원은 위원장이 위촉하여 구성한다.
본 위원회의 재정은 다음 각 호의 수입으로 충당한다.
이 규정은 건강기능식품미래포럼 운영위원회를 통과한 날부터 시행한다.
These Regulations serve the purpose of delineating matters pertaining to the establishment and functioning of the Editorial Board, hereinafter referred to as the "Board," for the academic journal known as "Food Supplements and Biomaterials for Health (FSBH)," published by the Health Functional Foods Future Forum, hereinafter referred to as the "Forum." The FSBH is published in accordance with Article 4, denoting the activities of the Forum, as outlined in the Articles of Association of the Forum.
The Board shall be situated within Seoul or its metropolitan area. The establishment of the Board is mandated by Article 19, governing the Editorial Board, as stipulated in the Articles of Association of the Forum.
The Board is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing all necessary affairs to ensure the timely publication of the FSBH four times annually, in adherence to the prescribed schedule.
The Board shall undertake the following activities, in pursuit of the objectives outlined in Article 3:
5.1. The Board shall have a Chief Editor, appointed by the Chairperson of the Forum.
5.2. The term of service for the Chief Editor shall be two years and may be renewed.
5.3. The Chief Editor shall be responsible for the management and supervision of the Board.
6.1. Two Associate Editors may be appointed in the fields of food, medicine, and biology to assist the Chief Editor.
6.2. Appointment of the Associate Editors shall be made by the Chairperson of the Forum, upon the recommendation of the Chief Editor, and the term of service is two years and may be renewed.
6.3. The Associate Editors shall be tasked with the following duties:
6.4. In the event of an emergency, Senior Associate Editors shall assume the responsibilities of the Chief Editor.
7.1. Managing Editor shall carry out the activities of the Board as well as all editorial- related tasks to achieve the Board's objectives.
7.2. The appointment of the Managing Editor shall be made by the Chairperson of the Forum, upon the recommendation of the Chief Editor. The term of service is two years and may be renewed.
8.1. The Board shall include a Language Editor, Statistics Editor, and Administrative Editor to ensure the smooth operation of editorial work.
8.2. These Editors are appointed by the Chairperson of the Forum upon the recommendation of the Chief Editor, and their term of service is two years and may be renewed.
8.3. The Language Editor shall undertake necessary tasks to maintain the English language quality of submitted manuscripts at an international standard.
8.4. The Statistics Editor oversees the matters pertaining to statistics of submitted manuscripts.
8.5. The Administrative Editor shall handle administrative and financial responsibilities related to publication of the FSBH.
9.1. To ensure the efficient functioning of the Board, the Board shall comprise approximately 40 members.
9.2. The board members consist of approximately 30 members from scholars and experts from domestic and foreign academic societies, and approximately 10 members from domestic industry.
9.3. These members shall undertake responsibilities such as:

10.1. To facilitate the advancement of the Board's functions, an advisory committee comprising a maximum of 10 members may be established, with appointments made by the Chief Editor.
